Released January, 2010
The Travelite VI 8x25 CF are one of three options in Nikon's 2010 Travelite series of mid-range, compact binoculars. Models with 10x and 12x magnification, and identical in features and design, are also available, while the Travelite EX series targets shoppers searching for higher-grade compact binoculars.

The Travelite VI 8x25 CF maximize brightness via anti-reflective lens coatings that optimize light transmission, and distortion is reduced by an aspherical lens shape. A rubber-coated body enables a solid grip in wet and dry conditions, but the binoculars are not waterproof and fog-proof like many of Nikon's models. They similarly lack diopter adjustment, but are equipped with a standard, central focusing knob.
