Nikon Trailblazer ATB 8x42
$130.00
Released December, 2006
The Trailblazer ATB 8x42 are roof-prism binoculars from Nikon intended for hunting, birding, and other activities in a range of outdoor environments. They are nearly identical to the Trailblazer ATB 10x42, but offer less magnification, so they are a somewhat less expensive option.

They are the largest Trailblazer binoculars with an 8x zoom, although a 10x50 model is also available. A waterproof and fog-proof design makes the binoculars suitable for a wide variety of terrain, and a rubber exterior enables a comfortable, firm grip in wet and dry conditions. The lenses feature multiple coats of anti-reflective compounds to improve image quality, and use Nikon's "Eco-Glass", which is made without arsenic or lead. Their turn-and-slide eyecups and significant eye relief – more than that of the 10x42 model – ensure they can be used comfortably by people wearing glasses.
