Nikon Monarch ATB 8x42

The Nikon Monarch ATB 8x42s are a premium pair of binoculars. Nikon emphasizes the bright, sharp colors that these binoculars reproduce. Like other models in this series, the Monarch ATB 8x42s have dielectric high-reflective multi-layer prism coating, which Nikon promotes as offering the same brightness that the naked eye perceives, as well as accurate color reproduction.

Nikon promotes the Monarch ATB 8.42s as having an improved low-light performance over previous models, though not as good as the Monarch ATBs with 56mm lenses (the 8x56s, 10x56s and 12x56s). Like all the models in the Monarch ATB series, the Monarch ATB 8x42s are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed, which makes them waterproof and fogproof. Also like the rest of the Monarch ATB series, the Monarch ATB 8x42s come with binocular strap, travel case and lens covers. The Nikon Monarch ATB 8x42 Team REAL TREE model, a variation on the Monarch ATB 8x42, is also available.
