Nikon Monarch ATB 12x42

The Nikon Monarch ATB 12x42 is a premium pair of binoculars. Like the closely related Monarch ATB 10x42s, the 12x42s have dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating that provides almost the same brightness as that seen by the naked eye, as well as accurate color reproduction.

Nikon promotes the Monarch ATB 12x42s as having improved low light performance over previous models, but not as good as the closely related Monarch ATB 10x56s and Monarch ATB 12x56s (both of which have bigger lenses). Like the entire Nikon Monarch ATB line, the Nikon Monarch 12x42s allow you to adjust the fit of your binoculars with multi-setting click stop eyecups, a feature especially helpful for those who wear eyeglasses. These eyecups and the precision aligned optics, which make sure your eyes are not straining to see, make long views comfortable.
