Nikon Action Extreme 16x50 ATB

The Nikon Action Extreme 16x50 ATB, now available as the mostly similar 16x50 CF, are one of six options in the Action Extreme line of Porro-style binoculars intended for hunting and other outdoor activities, and targeting buyers requiring greater durability in a variety of conditions than standard binoculars would provide.

The 16x50 ATB is the most expensive model in the Action Extreme series, combining a full-size, 50mm objective diameter with the highest available magnification. They feature a waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof construction for superior performance in different types of terrain, with a rubber exterior ensuring a firm grip in wet and dry conditions. Multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds on the lenses reduce glare, increase light transmission, and optimize image quality. Image brightness, however, is better with the lower-zoom models.
