Giro Phase

$75.00 Released October, 2009

Product Shot 1The Giro Phase is a middle-priced, compact, and durable mountain bike helmet designed to handle steep climbs and rocky dirt roads. Featured is an in-mold construction that fuses the shell with an EPS liner, the result being an ‘exoskeleton’ of sorts that’s light but durable.

There’s also Giro’s proprietary Wind-Tunnel ventilation system with 27 vents to keep users constantly cooled, especially during hot summer days. The Phase comes in only thee sizes, but Giro claims the three accommodate 98% of all users. Users praise for the Phase for comfort and ventilation, but many have requested that Giro provide a more adjustable visor, as it tends to get in the way.
