Like its predecessor, the Copper Canyon 1512 features a 9 pole design made from a combination of steel/fiberglass. This model can sleep up to 12 people with its floor size of 15' x 12', centre height of 7'4", and a total square footage of 180. When packed down the tent measures at 11" x 28" and is slightly heavily, weighing 41lbs. 8oz. The Copper Canyon 1512 has a detachable awning that shades the entire front of the tent out to 5' away. Like all other Copper Canyon tents, the walls and flooring are made from 75D Polyester Taffeta, while the cover is made from 75D StormShield Polyester. In total, this model has 2 door and 6 windows, along with an included gear loft and 8 storage pockets.
Ideally this tent is intended to be stationary, and to be used by either large groups of people, or medium groups with a lot of equipment. Due to the larger size of this model there is an extra awning support pole to stabilize the structure. The bathtub flooring increases the weather resistance of this tent. This model comes in the colours brown and beige.
