Eureka is promoting the Alpenlite XT as being their lightest four season tent. Perhaps the most unique feature of the Alpenlite XT is the vestibule in the front, which provides storage space as well as another barrier between you and the weather outside.

 Eureka promotes the Alpenlite XT as being able to withstand extreme conditions and yet still be a convenient tent. The clips and post, as well as the grommet corner attachments, help to make set-up fast and easy, even in pressing weather. The shockcorded frame, a Eureka tent hallmark that ensures the poles will stay together, is also helpful in making set-up quick and easy. The frame is 9.5mm 7001-T6 aluminum, which will be able to handle a lot in the way of wind and precipitation. The Alpenlite XT is made of nylon taffeta, and comes equipped with Eureka's StormShield polyester ripstop fly.
