DeMarini F4
$375.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Sends the ball flying even if you don't make solid contact with it. Large sweet spot, easy to hit with. Good balance with the weight at the end for a controlled swing.
The Cons:Needs a break-in time before it begins to perform properly. Will end up warped by the end of the season.
The DeMarini F4 is a metal softball bat that uses a composite handle. This half & half design allows for a flexible C6 carbon composite handle to cut down on vibration, and a double-walled SC4 alloy barrel for strength and power.

The double-wall technology allows for a springboard effect when the ball is hit. The n2m end cap redirects force back into the barrel upon impact. The Positack grip prevents the bat from slipping. Rotation Index reminds players to turn the bat between hits. This bat is approved for play by the NSA, ISA, ISF and USSSA, but not by the ASA.
