The Spectator series of binoculars are designed with a lightweight yet durable body design which Bushnell claims will allow long term use during the length of the entire event; more specifically the 8x 25mm model has been fit into a more compact "pocket-sized" body design. The Spectator 8x 25mm model features an 8x magnification capability and a 25mm objective lens which provides a field of view of 341 feet at 1000 yards away; this is a much larger field of view than the 10x 50mm model in the Spectator series. The Bushnell Spectator 8x 25mm binocular pair has a listed MSRP of $59.95 in the official Bushnell store.
It should be noted that the Spectator model series do not have a rated close focus capability because they are designed to be used at a far distance from the source.
The Bushnell Spectator 8x 25mm binocular pair includes additional features such as a "Porro" lens prism system combined with BaK-4 prism glass material, twist-up adjustable eye-cups, a "free" focus system, and a 9.3oz body weight. The 8x 25mm model is also equipped with Bushnell's "Perma-focus" technology which allows the device to auto adjust focus levels; Bushnell claims this eliminates the extra time needed to fine tune focus levels to view range allowing for more event viewing time.
Unlike most Bushnell binocular models the Spectator series does not include capability with a separate tripod meaning the binoculars must be held during use at all times.
