Bushnell Powerview Porro Prisms 20x 50mm

$98.00 Released February, 2008

Product Shot 1The Bushnell Powerview Porro Prisms 20x 50mm are binoculars built for scanning distant and wide areas. Physically these are constructed very closely to the Bushnell Powerview Porro Prisms 10x 50mm and 16x 50mm binoculars, but are heavier at 30 oz and have the highest magnification setting in the set at 20x.

The higher magnification narrows the field of view, but because the Porro prism system is being used, a 57 meter wide view is still visible at 1000 meters distance. The Porro system also offers greater depth perception, and an InstaFocus system is used to allow for fast adjustment while still holding the binoculars steady with both hands. Tripod mounting is also available. The objective lenses are 50mm and are multi-coated to reduce glare. This combination allows for greater light transmission, which creates a brighter and clearer image. Adjustment to the individual's face is handled through a fold-down action. A non-slip rubber armor coating protects against bumps and scrapes.
