This, combined with a smaller exit pupil, creates a narrower field of view. The Porro prism mounting system accounts for this to a large extent, as the system offers a wide field of view and good depth perception under most magnification settings. The end result is a field of view 61 meters wide from 1000 meters away. The large 50mm lenses are multi-coated to reduce glare and allow for improved light transmission for a brighter, clearer image. Focus is handled without needing to let go with either hand using an InstaFocus rocker bar in the center. Adjustment to the individual's shape is handled by applying gentle pressure to the fold-down eyecups. For protection, the binoculars are coated with a non-slip rubber armor.
