The Bushnell PermaFocus 10x 50mm is a standard-sized pair of binoculars with a permanently set focus. This allows the user to adjust their eyes to the action without having to turn a dial, which facilitates sporting events and general nature viewing.

This model is similar to the other 50mm models in the Bushnell PermaFocus series, using a fold-down eyecup design and mounting the internal prisms in a Porro layout. This makes the standard design a good deal bulkier than the Bushnell PermaFocus 10x 42mm and significantly heavier at a weight of 31 oz, but offer a better depth perception and wider field of view. The large 50mm lenses, which are capable of gathering more light and thus creating a larger, clearer image to focus on. These binoculars can also be adapted to a tripod for longer viewing of a single target. The lenses are fully coated to cut down glare, and the case is coated with non-slip rubber to prevent being dropped and protect in case of impact.
