$220.00
Released January, 2010
Bushnell's Excursion EX 8x 42mm is a mid-range pair of binoculars that falls in the middle of the Excursion EX lineup. They have a lower overall magnification than the 10x versions, but this gives them a wider field of view as well.

The prisms are coated with a material that enhances color realism and improves clarity. The chassis has soft thumb grips and a large lockable thumbwheel, and they weigh slightly less than the 10x version. Also, the chassis is fully water- and fog-proof. These are mainly intended for outdoor use or hunting. The chassis size is standard, not mid-range like some of the 8x or 36mm models.
