Burton Ion Boot

$400.00 Released November, 2010

Product Shot 1The Burton Ion Boot is a high-end snowboard boot offering. Burton promotes this snowboard boot as being used by pros of every stripe. The Shrinkage footprint reduction technology of the Ion Boot cuts down on toe drag by reducing the boot's overall footprint by one whole size (though the boot fits the same as it usually would).

The EST midsole of this boot is low profile and lightweight. This midsole reduces your center of gravity, improving the overall feel. For the Ion, you can choose between the single or dual component Power Spine backstay, which allows you to fine-tune medial/lateral support and edge-to-edge response. This boot has soft but stiff rubber ice spikes for grip. Features that are new for the 2011 Ion are the Rad Pad (which consists of pre-curved panels at the top of the instep, geared toward a comfortable lace feel), and the Super Grip toe. There are color and size options for the Burton Ion Boot.
