Burton Emerald Boot

$200.00 Released January, 2011

Product Shot 1The Burton Emerald Boot is a pair of women’s snowboard boots designed to provide serious women snowboarders with a serious fit. Featured is a True Fit design with dual-axis power spine backstays that maximize medial/lateral support and edge-to-edge response; 3-part outsoles that provide low-profile stability via an airbag-design and EVA midsoles; and thin-profile tongues that wrap the forefeet for improved flex and reduced shell/liner stack-up.

Together the 270-degree Airbag provides shock absorption, while the custom-moldable Imprint 2 liner accommodates disposable toe warmers. Reviewers praise the Emerald Boot’s budget-friendly price (especially compared to $500+ competitor models) but have complained that the lacing is a bit stiff, the boots are hard to put on and take off, and it’s too tight on the sole.
