Bell Drop
$130.00
Released July, 2009
The Pros:Good ventilation, keeps your head nice and cool. Feels very light, doesn't press down on your head. Graphics are very cool, nice add-on that makes an already good looking helmet even better.
The Cons:Feels large and bulky at first, takes some getting used to. Tends to accumulate scratches fairly easily, could use a clear coat.
The Bell Drop is a high mid-cost BMX helmet. This helmet was designed by the same team that designed Bell's popular Moto-8 motocross helmet. You can adjust the visor of this helmet to get more or less coverage over your face.

Though the Drop features full-face coverage for the ultimate safety, the eye port of this helmet is large enough to accomodate goggles, so that you can keep your eyes protected when you hit the dirt. The hand laminated fiberglass shell of this helmet has an EPS (Extended PolyStyrene) liner, which makes for a more comfortable fit. This helmet is a step up from the lower cost Bellistic in that it has more color options, and is CPSC as well as ASTM DH certified (as opposed to only CE certified).
